***Press Release To The Media***

Gary's on top of the Cartridge World

Cartridge World's Central Manchester store is a Business to Business (B2B) Champion. 0161 738 1066

When it comes to winning and retaining B2B customers the store's five person team, led by Business Deveopment Manager, Craig Dixon, have shown the Cartridge World's 190-strong nationwide network a clean pair of heels.

The store, which is situated on Bury New Road in Prestwich, is owned by Gary Kirkby. He made the decision to invest in the B2B side of the business last year and is delighted with the results. “We're now supplying our printer cartridges to a lot of big businesses in Manchester. As a result we've increased the store's turnover by 40%. That's good going in far from ideal trading conditions.”

Gary attributes the team's success to an all-round effort to ensure that their B2B service is the best it can be. “We've made sure that we top all the search engines – that generates around 250 calls a month. But it all comes down to delivering a truly professional service from the moment someone calls us and of course, great value.”

Commenting on the team's achievement, Cartridge World chairman, John Richardson, said: “They are to be congratulated. Gary Kirby has a strong technical background. This gives customers confidence in the advice and service the store delivers. He's combined this with Craig Dixon's flair for sales development to deliver an award winning performance.”

Gary, who was presented with his award at Cartridge World's annual conference, added: “This award isn't just for me, it's for the whole of my team. Our success is a direct result of first rate customer service and the provision of quality products at a good price. We're looking forward to further B2B success in the coming year.”

Recycle your printer cartridges

Find out how you can help Bury Society for Blind and Partially Sighted People save money, earn extra income and protect the environment
We would like to introduce you to Recycle It, the new printer cartridge recycling initiative from Cartridge World. It’s an easy, effortless way to help us raise much-needed extra funds and start growing environmental awareness in the next generation.

How does Recycle It work?

To help us make a significant dent in the 45.5 million cartridges that are sent to landfill in the UK every year,* we’d like you to recycle your printer cartridges with Cartridge World Bury on Silver Street.
Simply refill your empty printer cartridges with Recycle It at your local Cartridge World store and they’ll give Bury Society for Blind and Partially Sighted People £1 for each time you get your  Recycle It card stamped. Just send the stamped card in to us when it’s full so we can redeem it. Alternatively, we’ll get 50p for each one you drop off in our special collections bins at the Bury Blind Society Resource Centre.

Extra income for us, savings for you

Just remember that if you take your cartridges to be refilled at Cartridge World Bury, not only will Bury Society for Blind and Partially Sighted People get more money, but you’ll also enjoy massive savings on printer cartridge costs compared to buying new. Independent tests show that Cartridge World delivers the same high quality as branded cartridges, so please give them a try. You won’t just be raising money for us; you’ll also be saving money at home.

I hope you’ll agree that Recycle It is a great way to teach our supporters about the importance of helping the environment, reducing waste and preserving the world’s resources.

Please get involved, join in and help Bury Society for Blind and Partially Sighted People and the environment.

With the current pressure to be environmentally friendly, we are delighted to announce Pearson Ferrier Commercial  have re-let prime town centre retail premises on Silver Street to a ‘Cartridge World’ franchisee.  The unit let was originally occupied by ‘Burning Desire’ fireplaces for over fifteen years who have expanded their business and moved to larger premises in Ramsbottom.  The opening was attended by Bury’s Mayor, John Byrne, and representatives from numerous local businesses.
